26th Apr 2012 is the twelfth world Intellectual Property Day. The 2012 IP conference was held in our company. Ten more IP administrators from different departments attended the meeting. The host, vice director Hong Li introduced the history of World Intellectual Property Day and the themes of each session. The result of “2011 IP awards” was announced in the meeting.

IP manager Ms Jiayun Hua made a conclusion for the jobs in year 2011. She introduced the working plan for year 2012 and explained the two new revisions of “Patent Grant Award rule” and “The Award for exploitation of patent and science achievement transformation”.

A lively discussion occurred after it. GM Mr. Binjie Tu had a talk on the meeting. He pointed out that the IP job objection in the new period should be moved to improving the patent quality, raising the management level and combining patent application and know-how protection.
